One of the more overlooked alumni of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium designer Dirk Bikkembergs emphasiszes on practicality and innovation is renowned today by the many athletes that have informed his designs. Unlike the rest of the Antwerp, six Bikkembergs was inspired more by masculinity and athletics, he frequently worked with amateur football teams in Belgium to test his garments. To this day he has influenced a slew of different brands who normally would not have ventured into the realm of sportswear if not for his progression in the medium. A reinterpretation of classic work footwear these leather boots feature a metal ring pull tab.
